Coin lockers at Ikebukuro Station

The biggest bank at Ikebukuro is at the East exit (north side) in front of Parco, with over a hundred lockers across the four common sizes. Because it is the obvious one, it is also the first to fill.
Quieter banks sit by the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi line gates outside the paid area, and inside the Central 1 and South gates. The bank facing the Yurakucho line gates holds roughly fifty units of which around eighteen are large.
Banks outside the gates generally run from six in the morning to ten at night rather than around the clock, so check the sign before leaving something overnight.

If the lockers are full

- The Seibu and Tobu department store basements have their own lockers for shoppers.
- Shinjuku is four minutes away on the Yamanote line and has far more large lockers.
