Coin lockers at Narita Airport

Narita publishes exact locker dimensions, which almost no station does. Small is 33 × 34 × 66 cm at ¥400 a day, medium 50 × 34 × 66 cm at ¥600, and large 86 × 34 × 66 cm at ¥800. Terminal 3 also has an extra-large cabinet of 227 × 34 × 66 cm at ¥1,200 per twelve hours.
The standard maximum stay is eight days — the longest of any operator on this site — although the Terminal 3 extra-large is limited to five. Terminal 2 basement and Terminal 3 second floor have hourly-rate lockers instead of daily ones.
Cash, credit cards, transit IC and QR codes are all accepted. Some smart cabinets can be reserved, and a bag deposited by late morning can be delivered to a Tokyo or Urayasu hotel the same day.

If the lockers are full
- Staffed storage counters run by JAL ABC and Sagawa are open from early morning to late evening, at about ¥800 small, ¥1,000 medium and ¥2,000 large per day.
- Airport takkyubin sends the case to your hotel, but the standard product is next-day rather than same-day, so plan for it.
- Terminal 3, the low-cost terminal, has the fewest lockers of the three — arrive early or book storage.

What if every locker is full?
Full lockers are normal at Narita Airport from mid-morning onwards in peak seasons. The reliable fallbacks are a staffed baggage room, a storage service such as ecbo cloak that books a café or shop by the day, or sending the case to your next hotel by takkyubin so you do not have to carry it at all.
