Nagoya has around twenty-three locker locations and something close to two and a half thousand lockers. The station operator confirms twelve in-station locations, all taking electronic money as well as cash, but does not publish prices or dimensions.
The city tourism board gives the usual sizes as heights of roughly 35, 57, 84 and 117 cm at a constant 34 cm width and 57 cm depth, at about ¥400, ¥600, ¥700 and ¥800 to ¥1,000. Treat those as indicative rather than official.
Extra-large cabinets are at the Bus Terminal South bank, the Hirokoji exit and the Gate Tower basement. The central concourse bank has small lockers only, which surprises people arriving off the Shinkansen with a suitcase.

If the lockers are full

What if every locker is full?
Full lockers are normal at Nagoya Station from mid-morning onwards in peak seasons.
